Many of our over 700 faculty from both our Palo Alto and Redwood City campuses lead national and international groups like the American Heart Association and Endocrine Society Leadership and serve as members of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, and the Institute of Medicine. Department of Medicine faculty earn prominent honors, such as NIH Innovator Awards, and contribute to countless publications and journals.

Rhonda Hamilton
In addition to serving as general medicine clinic section chief at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System and clinical assistant professor of primary care and population health, Rhonda Hamilton, MD, finds unique strategies with student volunteers to engage veterans and reduce racial disparity gaps in their health care.
