Residency Research Symposium
Every spring we hold our annual Residency Research Symposium. Residents presented posters of their scholarly works and research to the Department of Medicine Chair, Vice Chair, Program Directors, faculty, fellows, residents, medical students, visitors and staff. We believe that the key to successful scholarship during residency is mentorship from the department's faculty, and making sure resident-researcher connections are made early. As such, we work to link trainees with mentors starting in their intern year. Residents can also apply for one month of elective time dedicated solely to research during each of their PGY-2 and PGY-3 years.
