Assistant, Associate or Full Professor - Physician Scientist
The Department of Medicine, Division of Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT-CT) seeks to fill a faculty position for an appointment as Assistant/Associate/Professor in the University Medical Line (UML). The candidate should have an outstanding record (or potential record) of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in multiple myeloma and related plasma cell disorders. The candidate should have significant clinical and/or translational research. The candidate will be expected to provide outstanding ambulatory and inpatient clinical care.
CE - Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor - Adult Congenital Heart Disease
The Adult Congenital Heart Program and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and secondarily the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Stanford University School of Medicine are seeking a board-eligible or boardcertified Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist to join the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics as a Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor in the Clinician Educator line.
The ACHD team is comprised of 5 ACHD cardiologists, 4 advanced practice providers, 3 nurse coordinators, social worker, and administrative staff. Under the direction of the Medical Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Program, the ACHD team provides care to more than 4,000 ACHD patients in the outpatient setting and consult on more than 300 ACHD patients in the inpatient setting annually. Our program provides comprehensive diagnostics, lifestyle counseling, medical, interventional, and surgical management, multidisciplinary high quality ACHD care 24/7 for patients in Northern California and beyond. Collaboration with electrophysiology, interventional catheterization, intensive care, pulmonary hypertension and heart failure/transplant is integrated with the ACHD program. Our ACGME accredited ACHD fellowship provides advanced cardiovascular fellowship training in ACHD to 2 fellows.
CE - Associate or Full Professor
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified noninvasive cardiologist with specialization in heart failure and heart transplantation to join the division as a Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator line to serve as the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation.
The Division is a dynamic and innovative center dedicated to excellence in research, medical education, and clinical care. Our division is comprised of over 100 faculty, clinician educators and instructors who contribute to the Division's ongoing efforts in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is one of the largest academic and clinical units within the Stanford Department of Medicine, providing clinical services to more than 250,000 patients annually through Stanford University Medical Center and the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Internal Medicine Residency Program Director - Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley
Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley in Pleasanton, California, is recruiting a Founding Program Director (PD) for a new Internal Medicine (IM) residency program for the Tri-Valley region. The Founding PD would have the unique opportunity to create and grow a brand-new community-based academic residency program with the full support and resources of Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley and the Stanford School of Medicine. The PD will have authority and oversight over the administration, educational activities, recruitment, evaluation, and supervision of 30 residents in the 10-10-10 IM residency program.
Associate or Full Professor, Medical and Resident Education
The Department of Medicine at Stanford University seeks a seasoned academic faculty member in Medical and Resident Education to be appointed at the rank of associate or professor in the Non-Tenure Line (Teaching). We are particularly interested in candidates who have compiled a record of excellent teaching and pedagogical contributions including didactic teaching, advising, mentoring, program building, curricular innovation and administrative teaching leadership. The successful applicant should have either a MD, a PhD, or combined MD/PhD or equivalent. Endocrinology – Clinician Educator Line (Metabolic Bone/Diabetes/Endocrine Oncology)
This position is in a non-tenure line.
The Division of Endocrinology, Gerontology, and Metabolism at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking 3 full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educators at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. One position is available in each area of metabolic bone disease, diabetes, and endocrine oncology.
The Division is dedicated to excellence in research, medical education, and clinical care. Our division is comprised of over 30 faculty, clinician educators and instructors who contribute to the Division's ongoing efforts in the prevention and treatment of endocrine diseases. The Division of Endocrinology provides clinical services to more than 25,000 patients annually through Stanford Hospital and Clinics and the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
The selected candidate's clinical responsibilities will include outpatient clinics at the Stanford Palo Alto Campus and inpatient endocrinology consult services. In addition, engagement in clinical research and teaching will be expected and encouraged. The major criteria for appointment for the CE Line is excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional service. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent and be board-eligible or certified in Endocrinology.
The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. The final pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the candidate's experience, qualifications, equivalent years in rank, training, field or discipline, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable positions.

Endocrinology – Salary Range with Clinical Activities
Clinical Assistant Professor: $269,000 - $280,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $288,000 - $301,000
Clinical Professor - $310,000 - $353,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. Gastroenterologist - University Medical Line - Assistant/Associate Professor
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine University seeks a gastroenterologist as Assistant or Associate Professor in the University Medical Line.
The successful applicant should have MD or MD/PhD degree and demonstrable record of scholarly achievement including the ability to conduct team science by collaborating productively with other investigators and clinicians in a sustainable fashion. CE in Hematology - Assistant or Associate Professor
The Division of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time position as a fellowship-trained Hematologist in the Clinician Educator (Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor) line to join our expanding East Bay Cancer Care Program.
The position will be based at the Stanford Medicine - Sutter Health Cancer Center in Oakland, CA, which is a Joint Venture and will function as a central hub for comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer and hematologic care. The newly built center features state-of-the-art outpatient clinic space, infusion treatment area, as well as diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology and ambulatory surgery facilities. Inpatient hematologic care will be provided at the adjacent Alta Bates Summit Medical Center and at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley in Pleasonton, CA. As needed, tertiary resources will be available at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.

Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or CE Clinical Professor - Rheumatology
The Division of Immunology and Rheumatology at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking board-eligible or board-certified Rheumatologists to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator line.
This position will be based at the main campus in Palo Alto and will focus on the expansion of clinical, research, and educational programs in adult Rheumatology. The successful applicant’s responsibilities will include primarily outpatient care (80%), with some participation in the inpatient consult service. Responsibilities will also include teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. Pursuit of individual scholarly interests is encouraged and supported.
The Division has an outstanding career development program for its dedicated Clinician Educators. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of California and be board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible or certified in Rheumatology. Physician Scientist/Scientist
The Division of Immunology and Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University is seeking a physician-scientist or scientist who is a clinical trialist or translational or informatics investigator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with research expertise and interest in one or more of the following areas: autoimmune disease, immunologic mechanisms of disease, immune reset, genomics, other “omics” research, informatics, clinical trials and/or other areas of translational research in autoimmune, inflammatory, and/or rheumatic disease. The candidate must hold a MD, PhD, or MD/PhD. Although board-eligibility or board-certification is desired, board-eligibility or board-certification is not required. The applicant must be qualified for appointment to a faculty position at Stanford University. The position will be in the University Medical Line or University Tenure Line, with the expectation that time will be split among research, mentoring/teaching activities, and for relevant candidates clinical activities.
Physician Scientist or Scientist - University Medical Line or University Tenure Line - Assistant/Associate Professor
The Department of Medicine/Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine at Stanford Medicine is recruiting a faculty at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor levels to contribute to the research, clinical, and educational activities of the Division. Candidates with research programs in all areas of Infectious Diseases will be considered, including those with clinical and bench-based research programs. We are especially interested in applicants whose research programs focus on Clinical Trials, Global Health, Population Health/Big Data, and Outcomes Research. The faculty positions will be in the University Tenure Line or University Medical Line. The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching. The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Medical Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualification and experience of the successful candidate.
General Nephrology Clinician Educator (Open Rank)
The Division of Nephrology at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applications from qualified academic nephrologists for a faculty position in the Clinician Educator track with rank to be determined by qualifications and experience.
Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree, possess board certification or board eligibility in Nephrology, and hold or be able to obtain a California Medical License. The successful candidate will serve as the attending physician on the inpatient general nephrology consult services, perform kidney biopsies, and provide outpatient care for general nephrology patients. Additionally, the candidate will participate in the education of fellows, residents, and medical students through didactic, outpatient, and inpatient settings. Clinical responsibilities will be based primarily at Stanford Health Care, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, and affiliated outreach sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Thoracic Oncology - Clinician Scientist
The Division of Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University seeks a clinician scientist to join the division as Assistant, Associate, or full Professor in the University Medical Line. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent medical degree, and current eligibility/certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine, specializing in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology. Early-career professionals whose aspirations align with an interdisciplinary team-based approach are highly desired and encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in innovative scientists with clinical expertise (as applicable for rank) in thoracic oncology and translational research interests in solid tumor oncology.

Primary Care and Population Health - Physician Scientist
The Division of Primary Care and Population Health (PCPH) is seeking a new faculty member with a focus on health services research to advance primary care delivery to join at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the University Tenure Line or University Medical Line. Successful candidates must not only have training in the general field of health services research but have a strong interest and demonstrated talent in applying that interest at the institutional level. This interest and talent should be matched with methodologic training and strong potential for influential publication and mentorship. Candidates across the translational spectrum from clinical trials to implementation science are encouraged, and those with applied research objectives and an emphasis on clinical care related to disease prevention, chronic disease management, population health strategies, social drivers of health, and implementation of technology to enhance clinical care will find the most opportunities. The clinical content area should be within the broad bounds of our Division to include primary care, general internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are particularly interested in candidates who have an MD, DO or equivalent with board eligibility or certification in medicine (general internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics), and post-doctoral training is preferred.
PACCM - Interstitial Lung Disease - Clinical Assistant Professor - Clinician Educator Line
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor to join the Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) program. Experience and demonstrated interest in Interstitial Lung Diseases is required.
