Assistant, Associate or Full Professor - Physician Scientist
The Department of Medicine, Division of Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT-CT) seeks to fill a faculty position for an appointment as Assistant/Associate/Professor in the University Medical Line (UML). The candidate should have an outstanding record (or potential record) of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in multiple myeloma and related plasma cell disorders. The candidate should have significant clinical and/or translational research. The candidate will be expected to provide outstanding ambulatory and inpatient clinical care.
Cardiovascular Medicine - CE - Associate or Full Professor
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified noninvasive cardiologist with specialization in heart failure and heart transplantation to join the division as a Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator line to serve as the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation.
The Division is a dynamic and innovative center dedicated to excellence in research, medical education, and clinical care. Our division is comprised of over 100 faculty, clinician educators and instructors who contribute to the Division's ongoing efforts in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is one of the largest academic and clinical units within the Stanford Department of Medicine, providing clinical services to more than 250,000 patients annually through Stanford University Medical Center and the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The Department of Medicine (DoM) at Stanford University School of Medicine (SoM) seeks innovative physician scientists to join the faculty as Assistant, Associate, or full Professor in the University Medical Line through this rolling Faculty Cluster Hire Search. Applicants must have an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent medical degree, and eligibility/certification in any of the American Board of Internal Medicine's subspecialties. We are specifically interested in collaborative physician-scientists with scholarly research programs focused on discovery science, population science, and/or translational science that can be applied within the clinical domains of an adult medicine subspecialty.

Division Chief - Associate or Full Professor
The Department of Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine is recruiting a Division Chief of Computational Medicine for an academic appointment as Associate Professor or Professor of Medicine in the University Medical Line, University Tenure Line, or Non-Tenured Line (Research) at Stanford University School of Medicine. The Chief will provide strategic leadership, driving innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning, computational modeling, and statistical methods, and their application to medical decision-making across the full spectrum of research and care—from understanding molecular mechanisms to improving patient outcomes. The Chief will lead the Division’s research and educational missions, fostering a culture of scientific excellence, collaboration, and translational impact. Clinician/Educator (Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor)
This position is in a non-tenure line.
The major criteria for appointment for the CE Line shall be excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional
service. Proficiency in all aspects of Endocrinology is essential. The applicant is expected to work in collaboration with others in the Division to focus on providing clinical management for diabetes and general endocrine disorders, and to participate in teaching clinical endocrinology. Applicants must have an M.D. and be board-eligible or certified in Endocrinology.
Gastroenterologist - University Medical Line - Assistant/Associate Professor
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine University seeks a gastroenterologist as Assistant or Associate Professor in the University Medical Line.
The successful applicant should have MD or MD/PhD degree and demonstrable record of scholarly achievement including the ability to conduct team science by collaborating productively with other investigators and clinicians in a sustainable fashion. The candidate must possess or be able to obtain a California medical license at the time of appointment, as well as board certification/board eligibility in gastroenterology. As a physician-scientist, the candidate is expected to have demonstrated excellence in patient care.
CE in Hematology - Assistant or Associate Professor
The Division of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applicants for a full-time position as a fellowship-trained Hematologist in the Clinician Educator (Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor) line to join our expanding East Bay Cancer Care Program.
The position will be based at the Stanford Medicine - Sutter Health Cancer Center in Oakland, CA, which is a Joint Venture and will function as a central hub for comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer and hematologic care. The newly built center features state-of-the-art outpatient clinic space, infusion treatment area, as well as diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology and ambulatory surgery facilities. Inpatient hematologic care will be provided at the adjacent Alta Bates Summit Medical Center and at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley in Pleasonton, CA. As needed, tertiary resources will be available at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.

Thoracic Oncology - Clinician Scientist
The Division of Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University seeks a clinician scientist to join the division as Assistant, Associate, or full Professor in the University Medical Line. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent medical degree, and current eligibility/certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine, specializing in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology. Early-career professionals whose aspirations align with an interdisciplinary team-based approach are highly desired and encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in innovative scientists with clinical expertise (as applicable for rank) in thoracic oncology and translational research interests in solid tumor oncology.
The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Primary Care and Population Health - Physician Scientist
The Division of Primary Care and Population Health (PCPH) is seeking a new faculty member with a focus on health services research to advance primary care delivery to join at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the University Tenure Line or University Medical Line. Successful candidates must not only have training in the general field of health services research but have a strong interest and demonstrated talent in applying that interest at the institutional level. This interest and talent should be matched with methodologic training and strong potential for influential publication and mentorship. Candidates across the translational spectrum from clinical trials to implementation science are encouraged, and those with applied research objectives and an emphasis on clinical care related to disease prevention, chronic disease management, population health strategies, social drivers of health, and implementation of technology to enhance clinical care will find the most opportunities. The clinical content area should be within the broad bounds of our Division to include primary care, general internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are particularly interested in candidates who have an MD, DO or equivalent with board eligibility or certification in medicine (general internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics), and post-doctoral training is preferred.

PACCM - Interstitial Lung Disease - Clinical Assistant Professor - Clinician Educator Line
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor to join the Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) program. Experience and demonstrated interest in Interstitial Lung Diseases is required.
Stanford's ILD program, a part of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Clinical Care Network, offers a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary clinical program alongside active and well-funded clinical, translational, and basic research initiatives.
