Annual Internal Medicine Residency Chat Set for January 22
Are you looking to pursue a career in internal medicine or learn about a Stanford residency? Join Stanford’s Internal Medicine Residency program on Tuesday, January 22, at 1 p.m. PST for a video conversation via Zoom chat.
Participants will be introduced to faculty and physicians who are transforming the field of internal medicine, as well as current and former residents who will reflect on their experiences at Stanford. Program leadership will discuss the current landscape of internal medicine, share highlights from the curriculum and host a Q&A session.
This year’s panel is comprised of the following faculty with Program Director Ron Witteles, MD, associate professor of cardiovascular medicine, acting as moderator:
- Robert Harrington, MD, chair of the department and professor of medicine
- Neera Ahuja, MD, clinical professor of medicine
- Abraham Verghese, MD, MACP, professor of medicine
- Wendy Caceres, MD, clinical associate professor of primary care and population health
- Errol Ozdalga, MD, clinical associate professor of medicine
- Angela Rogers, MD, assistant professor of pulmonary and critical care medicine
