Medicine Grand Rounds
This 2025-26 academic year, we are reimagining Medicine Grand Rounds with a renewed emphasis on connection. Our theme — Bringing Us Together — reflects our belief that the most meaningful way to engage, learn, and build community is by being in the same room.
We are asking our Department of Medicine and academic community to make every effort to join us in person at our Palo Alto campus or – if you are based elsewhere in the Bay Area – at one of our satellite locations where you can also participate in person via simulcast:
- VA Palo Alto, 3801 Miranda Avenue. Building 500, Jason Nietupski Celebration Room. Access VA MGR map (PDF).
- Redwood City, 430 Broadway. Pavilion C, 3rd floor, Emmett Keefe Conference Room (C320). Access RWC MGR map (PDF).
- Hoover Pavilion, 211 Quarry Road. Events on 1/21, 2/18, 3/11, 3/18, 5/13 will be held in room 5113 (fifth floor conference room). ALL other MGR events January – May will be held in room 208 (second floor conference room). Access Hoover MGR map (PDF).
- Tri-Valley Pleasanton. Two locations: 5575 W. Las Positas Blvd, 1st floor, Physician Dining Room (in cafeteria); OR 4473 Willow Road, Suite 220. Access SHC-TV MGR map (PDF).
We have also hired a dedicated shuttle bus to transport faculty from Porter Drive to Medicine Grand Rounds. Click to access MGR Shuttle Information.
If you are unable to be on campus, you can request Zoom access here. Kindly allow us at least 24 hours to send you a Zoom link after your request, and plan to use the unique dial in details you receive for all series events moving forward (you won’t need to register more than once).
We look forward to seeing you and strengthening the connections that make our department thrive.
