Fellows' College

The Department of Medicine Fellows' College is a program jointly coordinated by department faculty and staff, designed to enhance the fellowship experience by creating valuable career development opportunities, safe spaces for guidance and advice from faculty and near peer mentors, and community.

Med Ed Events and Opportunities

We host a variety of events for Department of Medicine fellows throughout the year. Stay in the know about upcoming events and review our past events to see how our fellows connect in the Fellows' College.

Wednesday Socializing with Internal Medicine (SWIM)

For medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty:

  • Every Wednesday @ 11:15am in R164 Edwards Building (conference room near Department of Medicine Chair's Office)
  • Immediately followed by lunch and Medical Grand Rounds at 12:00pm nearby at Berg Hall

Stanford Health Professions Education and Scholarship (SHaPES) Program

  • First Wednesday of every month @ 5:15 - 6:15pm
  • Monthly seminar series covering fundamental concepts in education
  • No fee for Stanford fellows; available honors certificate (apply until Oct 31) or join sessions ad hoc.
