Awards and Honors
Note from the Chairman:
Numerous new grants and honors were received by the members of the department. Included among them are six grants that were previously highlighted by the School of Medicine because they represent efforts by the National Institute of Health to encourage “out of the box”, high-stake research. They include the Pioneer and Innovator awards and the four Transformational R01s. My congratulations to all the grant recipients and to Stephanie Harmon for her selection to receive the Isaac Stein Award from the Board of Directors of Stanford Hospital.”
