TRAM Research Symposium Set for June 7th, 2018

On Thursday, June 7th, 2018, TRAM (the Translational Research and Applied Medicine program) will host its annual research symposium. The symposium, which will run from 8:30 a.m. – 5p.m. at Berg Hall in the Li Ka Shing Center, is free to Stanford affiliates and will cost $200 for non-Stanford participants.

TRAM was established by Dean Felsher MD, PhD, professor of Medicine and Pathology, to “provide an infrastructure to rapidly translate novel genomic/proteomic, nanoscale and imaging research discoveries from the laboratory to the clinic and facilitate bench-to-bedside development of cellular therapies.” This annual research symposium seeks to further that goal.

The symposium will include talks on various subjects ranging “Medical Techology Research: Exciting Innovation, Operational Challenges,” to “Dysfunctional Fat and Insulin Resistance” to “With Friends lLike These: Methamphetamine and Pulmonary Hypertension.” The program will also include TRAM scholar research talks and posters.

Registration and the full program are available here.
