Annual bone marrow transplantation workshop explores
hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

Leaders in the bone marrow transplantation field shared their research and explored recent advances in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at the Winter Bone Marrow Transplantation Workshop on December 5.

The daylong event was organized by Stanford’s Blood and Marrow Transplantation Division, along with UCSF, Emory University and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

The workshop – which drew more than 250 attendees – was divided into three sessions: preclinical transplant biology, clinical trial outcomes, and human translational research.
