Fun at the All-Staff Meeting and BBQ
At the recent All-Staff Meeting and BBQ, we traded in office attire for red aprons and grass skirts. And if you can believe everything you see on flickr (all the photos are here), we even wore a sand bucket or two on our heads. While the fun and games on the Dean’s Lawn steal the spotlight in the photo album, the June 7 event also provided lots of information about the Department of Medicine’s latest initiatives. We began with a presentation by Vice Chair Cathy Garzio on how staff has both helped move us up in the national rankings and built momentum what we’re working on now. A big thanks to all who came out to celebrate these accomplishments and the future direction of the Department!
