The Artist
Agnese Udinotti was the artist selected to create the physical award.
Together, she and Dr. Melmon forged the ideas of the award into physical
representation the sculpture. It portrays man - his isolation intensified
by disease - and the evolution of his integration with society through
the intervention of the physician. Greek by birth, Udinotti now lives
in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she creates metal sculpture and literature
that is arresting, passionate and perceptive.
She holds degrees from Arizona State University and has received numerous awards at exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe.
