Mission
The Center for Clinical Investigation is designed to assist the divisions of the Department of Medicine with the development, implementation, and conduct of research studies.

Introduction to Stanford research for new PIs and coordinators
Assistance with research grant submissions
Office space for research assistants, study coordinators and research nurses
Exam room for non-invasive patient encounters and phlebotomy procedures
Private room for consenting and administering surveys/questionnaires
Assistance with initiation of projects (study design, INDs, budget)
Guidance with initiation and conduct of clinical trials
Mentoring for research coordinators
Assistance with IRB and GCRC submissions
